Janice became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 1998 and specialises in conveyancing practice, land law, contract law and landlord & tenant. She deals with all aspects of both freehold and leasehold residential conveyancing and has done so for 30 years. Having been born in Cornwall , she has a wealth of local knowledge.

Her aim is to minimise the stress caused by a house move by keeping clients informed at all stages

Zoe Lock, who runs the Family Department, is a qualified solicitor. Zoe has previously worked in Redruth and Falmouth, but now hopes that her move to Randle Thomas LLP will enable her build on the links that she has already forged in the area, and establish her as a leading family lawyer in Cornwall. Zoe is bilingual, having been brought up in Portugal. She completed her legal training with a South-East firm, ranked No.1 in that area for Family Law, before moving to Cornwall on qualification. Zoe co-founded the Junior Solicitors Division of Cornwall Law Society and she is a member of Resolution (an organisation which exists to promote a non-confrontational approach to resolving family disputes). In her spare time she enjoys cycling, swimming, running and reading autobiographies.
